Employee Terminations


Coverage under the group benefits plan should end on the last day worked by the employee.

Employee terminations must be reported in writing by emailing firms@cpaipw.ca within 60 days of the termination date. Termination requests received past 60 days cannot be backdated and will be made effective the day we receive written notification from the employer.

Premiums are not prorated and will be charged for the entire month for terminations dated after the first of the month.
